The Maximum payload is 1100 KG which needs include the fuel and passengers

Yes, partitions and breast bars are removable and can be set up for the type of hire you require before you collect the vehicle. NEW: Box one has adjustable partitions and quick release movable breast bar. 


The vehicles are Manual and can be driven on a standard car license. 


Yes, Up to three drivers can be approved within the Hire Period. All will have to complete the relevant documentation and checks.  


Yes. There is mileage limit based on length of hire, anything that exceeds this, will be charged at 35p a mile.


Yes, It covers the horse area and the rear of the vehicle. 


Yes, transport quotes are available upon request.


No, you do not have to. However it can be supplied at an additional cost, Or you can use your own. 


QUESTIONS ABOUT PAYMENTS

No, However you will be required to pay a minimum of £50 deposit to secure the booking. 


If you book online, the booking system will take you to a secure payment method. However if you are booking via telephone or email, bank details with be shared. 


Yes, You can pay in cash if you prefer. 


QUESTIONS ABOUT SAFETY

Horseboxes are thoroughly cleaned and all surfaces disinfected using DEFRA approved products (Virkon S). 


Yes, You will be covered for breakdown and horse recovery and information will be found in the cab.

There are also emergency poncho's available and a warning triangle.


Yes, our horseboxes are serviced every 12 weeks and inspected upon every return of vehicle. 


Yes, there is plenty of light and ventilation. Remote controlled fans are installed. Boxes are illuminated with LED lighting.

Questions about Logistics

 Vehicles can be left on the public road as there are no parking restrictions in place ( left at owners risk) 


With prior agreement the horsebox can be returned after 7pm although additional charges may apply.



A driver may have up to two passengers, providing they are within the payload limit. 


Yes, there is a storage for your tack, rugs and other equipment. 


Questions about transport

 No, we can transport other animals, such as sheep and goats.   


 Yes, Our horse boxes have some little treats aboard for your journey. Unfortunately, we do not include human treats.   


Yes, we do supply water and hay. Longer journeys will include food. 


We will always use our experience and calm handling to assist with loading. If your horse is unable to load safely or becomes distressed, we will notify you and may not be able to proceed with transport. A written record of the attempt will be provided. Charges may still apply — please refer to our Transport Terms & Conditions for full details. 


All horses must have a passport when being transported, whether using our self-drive hire or transport service.
